Custom Controller Box NEMA 4x outdoor exterior Plastic, ABS/PBT Blend Gray Hinged Door, Lid 7.870″ L x 5.900″ W (199.90mm x 149.86mm) X 3.930″ (99.82mm).
The Stainless Steel adjustable thermostat is rated to handle up to 22amps from 120V to 240V .
Outdoor weather-tight box, includes a hole for padlock or tamper evident tag to secure the box, if desired, and mounting brackets.
Dinrail mounted terminal blocks for power/ground, dinrail GFEP 30mA ground fault trip to comply with Global Electrical Codes breaker trip indicator (120 VAC) up to 32Amps, 22mm bright LED light when controller is activated.
This controller is housed in a Nema 4x outdoor-rated waterproof box with easy to open latches. Box includes mounting tabs and a hole to secure the box with a small padlock or tamper evident tag. LED indicator light that will let you know that your system is on and running when the temperature drops below the set point.
Our custom controller w/ adjustable thermostat includes GFEP ground fault equipment protection (required for heat cable) with a 30mA ground fault trip. *Global Electrical Codes require electrical radiant heating cable to have ground fault protection with a 30mA trip rating. By integrating a GFEP into the thermostat controller, it eliminates the need for an expensive/hard to find GFEP breaker for the breaker panel.
Just a hint: Replacing the breaker in a residential panel with a GFEP one could cost anywhere from $120 to $375.
Also, many thermostats for pipe tracing and roof and gutter de-icing are set at a fixed point and cannot be adjusted. Making it difficult if the thermostat is in an area that receives direct sunlight and/or is close to a warm wall and will cause the thermostat to not turn on when it’s supposed to. Our thermostat controller solves that problem, as it is adjustable, and will reliably control whatever your product needs may be.
